I will be doing slight head work and a good cam so maybe single plane will do well. And this may be going in a 89 notch for mostly strip use.

not trying to hijack here , just dont want to start a new thread if the answer is here.

so if i have a 4.8 and want it to be a 5.3 all i need to do is switch the crank?

i thought id heard all the ls motor cranks were the same stroke?

Crank and rods. The 5.3 to 6.2 all have the same crank.

Wow, No kidding? The made it up in the rods? That would mean that the 4.8 has different rods than all the other motors?

I scored me some potions the other day so I'm now looking for cam recommendations. What type of specs should I look towards?
