A little update. Wait on f-body radiator, water pump, and fans. Almost there

A few more updates. Installed the radiator and hoses waiting on the fan assembly.

I predict you will be very happy with the combo. Looks great man. I've had that cam before on a LQ9 , L92 headed 6.0 and it pulled great and even got decent mileage. I see a extra regulator. Hmmm! what could that be for? Also good luck with fitting it under the 2" cowl with a decent filter assembly.

Is that just a stock f body rad and fan setup? I have a 79 fairmont and am wondering about the brp trans crossmember fitment....

Yes, just F-body set up. I dont have the BRP trans crossmember, They dont have one for the Turbo 400.

I used the Ford starter soleniod and jumped the one on the starter. Timing is controlled with the MSD 6012, and coil packs just plug in the the MSD harness. Very easy

What trans cross memeber ?? Did you use a stall converter with a long snout ?? and what flaxplate ?

Had a crossmember made. Normal Chevy convertor with TCI flexplate

Bringing this up to see about progress. Looking back at the valve cover pictures I'm wondering where you found those blue gaskets at? Any info on them?

I tried to start it the other day and it would not stay running. Didnt notice it at the time but the idle mixture screws were almost all the way in. Just waiting to get some free time.
