I have the stock cable works fine,,,, id run some more timing right now mine to seem to like the 38 deg and pulling it out at 4600 to 35 deg... i wished i could leave what u guys do,,, i guess i need to hook the trans brake...

hows ur car likeing the e85 fuel,,, i like to change to it myself

car seems to like it but was on e85 when i bought it, do u have a pic of how ur cable comes out of firewall? mine makes a tight S type curve and i think thats the reason it kinda sux.

heading back to the track fri hoping for a 6.xx pass on motor, adjusted my throttle cable, it wasnt going wide open before and seems to pull alot harder now so im hoping for some good times. also goin to try more timing, it was 32 deg last time, ive got it at 34 right now so ill see what that does for me.

car went 1.48 6.89 at 98 on motor with 34 deg of timing, track went down hill and car wasnt hooking after that so i never sprayed it.

Glad the car went a little a quicker. Get that cam swapped out for something a little more fitting, and really turn it up.

Grats on the new new best times . When you guys say "stock" cable are you refering to the stock cable from efi motor or an earlier carb cable put in there?

hey im trying to do a setup like that in my regal im bout to get a 5.3 750 carb 3000 stall and 373 gears im just wondering what cam i should go with and will i need to change the springs i only to to go bout a 7.0 or 7.20 all out ill put bout 175 shot of nos any suggestions

You should probably start your own thread on this to avoid a highjack. We will come in and share our experience for sure.
