Awesome job on the work and times. I am hoping for mine to be at the track next sunday (8 days away) for it's first outing. I have a few things to do still but I am pretty sure I will be excited with the results.

Yeah, those LS motors are not scared of HP output... when a junkyard stock 4.8L with twin turbos belts out 1200+ HP and lives for the teardown, by golly something was done RIGHT.... Funny thing was they originally thought it was a 5.3L!!!!

Sorry BigED My extra 371's are sold. However, I just had Don Hardy CNC a set of L92's for me. I'm going to wring this thing out some this season. Then I might swap heads and put in a bigger cam. It just sounds too damn tame. You know how it is. Never enough. Anyway, if I do, I'll have some hand ported 317's and a VicJr. with a fogger for sale.

No motor only times. I built it and spec'd the cam for spray. I don't really care what it runs on motor. But it's so mild you could drive it anywhere. Sounds like an old truck with an exhaust leak.

Got a chuckle at the track. A friend of mine has a Chevelle 565BBC car with a 200shot of spray we just installed on it. Ran a 5.89 and wheelied like a big dog. Meanwhile the lil Stang just hooked and left. Not a Ford guy but gotta love the suspension on these Fox body cars.

Fox body+LS=Fun

You did not tune the engine N/A before you started hosing it?

Tuned it motor only on the rollers. A/F was good and timing was best at 37deg. I don't believe HP numbers on a chassis dyno. Too many variables. I use it to tune. And for comparative basis. Motor only 400HP. One stage 632HP. Couldn't get the 2nd stage to work at that time. Brand new 2nd stage solenoid failed.

BTW please ignore the 1/4 mile information. Our shutdown area is a little short. Hard to get shutdown on a low 9sec 1/4 mile pass so we just ran 1/8mile.

New best 6.72 @ 166.35. 75deg, 1000ft elevation amd 35% humidity. 200 on the fogger and 175 on the plate with .3sec delay. Again thanks to Don Hardy for the shortblock, Tick for the cam, Weingartner Racing for the headwork and Induction Solutions for the nitrous set-up.

May change to a glide and see what happens.

When you go to sell the intake with the fogger kit give me a shout! Plans changed with my 5.3 and itll be forged come spring time so I wanna spray the day lights out of it

I'll keep it in mind. Not yet done flogging it. Looking to run a 5.50's. But may need a little more juice or ???.

However, I am waiting on the completion of a 418CI L92 motor. Maybe I'll sell this little motor then.
