ok here are some pics of what i am working with as far as flex plate and torque converter and crank setup. i am wanting to know exactly what spacer i need if any to mount to my TH350. I didnt have to elongate any holes in the flex plate because my holes in the converter already lined right up.

How far out if the pump do you have to pull converter to meet up with flex plate? I sheared the pump gear off my first lsx swap project. Put new pump in and made 0.200" spacers to go on the three converter bolts between it and the flex plate. Fixed problem completely.

I still have to tie up some loose ends with it today like tighten the motor mounts fully and put one more trans bolts in, install the torque converter bolts which worked out great with the fly wheel i purchased off craiglist by the way. I have maybe an 1/8in gap between the converter and the flywheel probably less than that. Now i have my headers in the mail hopefully should be here soon. I still need to get the 6010 MSD and a Carb and i should be ready to fire it. I just hope i can get that done before i leave for my deployment.

That flywheel has the spacer already. I think some of them came like that like mentioned.
Here is what the spacer looks like though

The bolts are an odd size(11mm by 1.5), here is what I used with the spacer, so it should work for yours. May be a tad longer, but you can add a washer if need be

I picked up my MSD 6010 today from Summit and it should be here tomorrow. Now my only thing is getting all the little details together. I was able to use my alternator from my engine that i had in the car to begin with i just swapped the pulley over from the truck alternator. I have to get proper radiator hoses and fluids. I think the only obstacle i might have left is if the 6010 works with a mac because i do not own PC haha.

Ok so im pretty pissed at this point. I cleaned the bottom of the oil pan and noticed a hairline crack in the pan and sure enough when i put oil in the pan it had roughly a half dollar puddle on the garage floor after 30minutes of it leaking statically. I go to the place and they tell me that it wasn't leaking when it was in the escalade and i show him the crack and explain to him that i agree it probably was not leaking due to the fact that it was caked up with dirt and grime and sludge and crap. It did really start dripping until i cleaned the pan up. oh and by the way its in a corner shape just like the fork end of a forklift weird huh. Then he goes into the fact that he dont have any pans to give me to replace it. And he couldnt just give me any old pan because the 6.0 HO engines have a special oil pan and no other ones will work with it :/ i guess i have stupid written on my forehead today. I explain to him i am a helicopter mechanic in the Air Force and have been doing this for 10 years and been trained on inspections so i can tell the difference between a crack that is fresh and one that has been there a while and i have integrity and wouldnt be up here wasting each others time if i had done anything to cause damage to the pan. So i ask if he could have it repaired then and he says yes if i can bring the pan up there he will have someone weld it up. at this point i think i may just clean it really well and jb weld it and see if it holds up and if not just buy a new pan rather than deal with the business again.
