Default Ls4 on carb upgrades

Hi guys. I'm trying to get costs together for tuning a ls4 engine. I'm looking to fit one to a fwd drag (to be different in some respects). I'm already looking to run it it on a carb with nitrous. But I'm unsure where sells aftermarket tuning parts for these engines, I'm going to turbo it eventually, in the meantime I'd like to see how much horsepower and 1/4 times I can do without a turbo/supercharger but within a reasonable budget.
Also just a question on transmissions, I've found a standalone controller that will run a early 4T65-E but are the figments the same ie bellhousing, starter etc or can it be made to fit.
Cheers

Aftermarket is full up on these motors. You should have no issues getting whatever you want.

For HP and quarter times check out some of the stickies, build threads and user sigs. You will be able to run as fast as your budget will allow.

Lots of trans options are available. I would suggest asking about a specific trans and/or controller to get more meaningful replies.

Very cool idea and very different. What platform is the motor going into? Later down the build shoot me a pm, I've got a very good carb for sale that might do the trick for ya. Cheers.

It's going in a small hatchback that will be tubed front ideally I've sourced a controller from a company and the budget would be roughly 3-4k not including the transmission or buying the engine and ideally I'd like around 450-500whp before the nitrous.
