What size power valve in your primary circuit. Maybe try dropping that a size to allow the motor to come out a bit before you hammer it with fuel

+1 on what Power valve or if you're running one. It should only be square jetted if running plugs in front and rear.

I use a 6.5 power valve in front and plug the rear. 10 # jet spread. I run 76/86 in my 950 and it works great.

Good luck

Was that at the DH15 make up date? Sorry I missed it. I had a nail in the tire.

I run .040" squirter discharge nozzles front and rear on the 950HP. My 750 HP was fine with .037", but the 950 wanted the .040" nozzles. I would try that first.

Also, my car likes a little heat in the engine. If I try to run it too cold, it will sputter off the line even with the big squirter nozzles.

been through this on my 383, 3 carbs, recurving dist, had the squirters up to 45, jets at 90, tried every pump cam, larger accel pump ended up have to lock dist, cured problem
then started backing everything down to normal, works perfect now but timing locked at 32 degrees.
