Default carb cam - can I run this cam, should I run this cam

I have a 01 ls1/t56 setup going into a 69 camaro with a 3.73 gear. msd 6010, GMPP intake and a speed demon 750 with a nos 150 shot carb plate.
I have a cam it's a Thunder Racing 224/224 on a 114 LSA. can I run this cam or should I not even bother?

I also have the stock 01 corvette LS1 cam and an LS6 cam.

what do you guys think? buying another cam is still an option but if I can save 400 I would like to.

It's not ideal, but people are running stock ls1 cams on a carb setup and that's even more less than ideal. Cam swaps are a breeze so if you can use that $400 elsewhere, I say go for it and swap later if you desire

If you are going thru all the trouble to swap it into a camaro, I would not kill the performance with a 114 lsa. Would it work? Sure, but it's not ideal. In fact, I just pulled a 114 + 4 cam out of my carb'd 5.3 because it was a dog. I got a cam spec'd for the carb and ended up with a 109 lsa....Most people like the split in duration for a carb motor to be 10 degrees or so too.

After running a 114 in a carb all motor before, I will needed do it again.

Buy a carb grind or even a torqer v2 if off the shelf is a need. It will work good with the 112 lsa. A 110 is pretty much optimal.
