Exactly, I do think I would trade for a th350 with a Trans brake before I had the drive shaft dimensions submitted.

Due to working nights, the phone tag game is causing the driveshaft not to be ready till tomorrow. Not that I will have time to mess with it.

Nite shift has its good points....no bosses usually around, lots of G-jobs can be done, and get shift differential too.

Could not fit more perfect! 48 inches for a th400 and LS using AJE K member and mounts.

Take that "dog bone" off the rear man, it's like 6-8#s....lol. And i had those traction bars on my ole LX hatch back in the 90s. they worked great except it was only a low 13 sec car so prolly wont do you you much good.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that it's supposed to keep driveline vibrations down. I know plenty of guys that run without them though, so I'd probably trash it.

Its gone now.

The steering shaft would not clear one of the primary headers....

So I combined the stocker with the one off my 01 3/4 ton the 6.0 came out of:

Looks like this:

It works. Don't know if it wil be there forever though.

Also welded the rear so it is locked in now. Removed the stock trans X member mounting locations. Filled and sealed the diff. Took off the slapper bars.

Just finished the Trans am. It had to get done first. Fixing to pull it back into the garage today and start wiring and install water pump, research what upper and lower hoses I need, install the fuel tank, fuel pump, start running the fuel lines. Then I can finish a bit of body work and get the brakes all lined out.

Some brake likes on it are trash do I have a full hard line kit on the way to replace them.
