I love the wheel/tire setup, however this car will see a lot of street runs, the radials should be here very soon! As far as the spray setup it's going to be a single stage plate kit, nothing crazy....

Got some good new's and some bad also.....

Good:

Motor is together
MSD box was mounted
Harness ran
Shifter mounted
Dzus fastener's done

Bad:

While unbolting the trans to toss in the JW 4000 stall I picked up for cheap, found the bellhousing was cracked/broken!

So now it's either I send the current trans out to JW and have them Ultra bell it, or just find another th400 to toss in it!

I will load the pics tomm. for you guys!

You can get a bell housing and install it yourself. Have to cut the old one off but you would have a better bell housing anyway.

Got a decent amount of stuff done today!

Got the trans situation fixed and yanked the motor back out to slap the converter/trans in, also routed the trans lines/routed fuel lines/plugged the harness in/made mounts and put the rad and fan in and got the hoses done!

Header flanges are finally here so those will get done this weekend!

Thing's on the "to do list"

Make crossmember
Mount fuel pump
Weld the header flanges
Wire the car up (lights etc.)
Have driveshaft made

Here's some pics:

That regulator mounted on the firewall will not pass for NHRA tech, just a heads up. They require it to be 6" forward of the bellhousing.

Had it mounted around the same area on the regal, the tech @ OSW is almost close to none!

If they give me any grief about it I will move it.....

Looks good. I'm about as ready to see your car go down the track as I am mine.

Great man, I hope to be not too terribly behind you. Gotta finish the TA and then get back to the coupe. I may skip the whole interior thing just to get that thing on the track sooner.

The interior of my car is HORRIBLE!

Eventually I will do a VFN dash, going to find some door panels for it and maybe even a center console to make it look a little better, for now I just wanna drive it!

I must say, "screw the interior" is a front line to getting my coupe to the track as soon as I can.
