supercharging question?

supercharging question? just a quick question since i know must of you guys are seasoned on ls1 im a 4 banger builder and are venturing out into the v8 world my brother is a hard core trans am lover and i know the reputation that follows ls engines. Im finally ready to start my own project and have everything figured out until i came across this http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product.php?p=180, im looking into going the carb way and wanted to know if this would fit since a ls1 is a small block and im doing a carb swap thanks for the help in advance by the way this is going into my gen 1 rx7, if anyone knows where i can get help for this swap like custom mounts diff mount etc let me know

yes they do but they are all for efi and 5k + im going carb on this ls1 and was wondering since even pro charger makes carb blowers for less than 3k which is why i wondered if this kits would fit on a carb ls1 beign a sbc

wow this is painful, i like my stuff new and no offense my questions have not been nearly answered just redirected, does anyone here know if those superchargers would fit on a carb ls1 thank you and don't mean to sound like a D*** but sometimes there's a need for strait forwardness
Will it work out of the box, no. Can you make it work with a bunch of time and modifications to the kit, probably. Is it worth the 800 savings or so by buying a kit not made for your engine over the one made for it specifically, I doubt it. Should you do it, that's your call. Be better off buying the kit for a Ls engine zone referenced to over hacking together a kit made for a block with different mounting holes. It's your call man, but there's a reason the one specifically made for your engine costs more, prolly cuz there is a bunch more work and maybe even more parts involved in puttin it on a Ls compared to a gen 1 sbc.
