Well looks like ill be buying the tci unit. That thing looks like it runs great man. 4000 revmax converter? I might go with circle d. Never heard of revmax. But that doesn't mean they aren't good haha.

Feels great for being a 6.0 tune. Wants more rpm so I'll see how it likes more later. Just want to get the exhaust on now so I can get it legal and start driving it again. I am shooting for 20+ mpg. Won't happen for sure till I get the wide band on.

Revmax is a sponsor here. This is my second one and it works great so far. Cannot wait to hit the track. Revmax builds for what you need. So you save. Other companies build a converter with overkill parts so you spend more on it than needed. Great for a broke sob like me.

Just did some research on here and it looks like revmax has a lot of happy customers. A 3800 stage 3 sounds good to me! Especially for 325 bucks. Oh and I've watched that video like 20 times already. I call it motivation lol.

Lol, hopefully more to come. Just got the exhaust installed today. Should flow better than the old crap bends that had to clear the old x member.

Here is a better test drive:

My dad cannot shut up for the life of me any time i want him to be quiet.

Here is a couple pics at the exhaust shop:

Drives fantastic. I am pleased, but still dying to get it to the track. Will run allot harder when i up the shifts to 6900 as well.

Bone stockers. I was tempted to port my other LS1 head and have a valve job done, but funds limiting and wanting it on the road NOW made it not happen.

It does, cannot wait till the wife drives it so I can hear it from a distance.

The worn out lap joint band is causing the shifter to not ratchet down past 3rd. Not that I have to, but I will get more later so I can if I ever wish to.

This was running the car last night with the shift limits upped to 6900. It likes it allot more.

So what your overall impressions of the eddy 2216? Think it will perform at the track? Sure does sound good man.

Ranger- very very pleased this far. Did not imagine the can would pull the way it does with thw low lift so it is proving to be a very budget cam. Using stock pushrods with no issue. Pulls fantastic to 6900 and I would probably up the shift to 7100 is I wanted to. I have no complaints this far! 1 3/4 headers to 3 inch collectors, dual 3 inch with and dynomax bullets dumped

Jay-Has 4.30s with the 27inch tall street radials. Cooper cobras I think.

Very cool man. What are you thinking on track times? I think 11's are possible givin your rear gear and converter.

Well, my buddy Gus went 7.7 in the 1/8th with a iron 5.3, ported 243s, cam that had a touch more lift, 3600 converter and 3.90 gears with a th400. I am a heavier driver by a hundo, better gearing and converter, aluminum block, but the 80 has more weight. If it went 7.9 or faster I'm happy. He had a Y pipe and I have dual 3 inch, so that is another questionable gain.

I may order up a 2216 cam, think this will work nice for me, easy on valvetrain, able to use ls6 springs also. Turned off by any cam Comp grinds with the failures I'm reading about.

I don't know much about cam failures on gen III and IV but their sbc grinds I have seen some issues with the distributor gear.
