The set-up you have right now with a 5k stall and 3.73's will actually run half way decent N/A due to the 3.73's making the stall less efficient and slightly looser than it would be with lower gears.

In such a light car it will probably surely run 6.60's-6.80's with a good 60'. With a 200 shot it should go 5.80's-5.90's pretty easily.

It will also work with up to a 200 shot of nitrous as in an application like this you want the stall flash speed 400-600rpm past peak torque. Peak torque on this set-up should be 5600-5800. Peak horsepower around 7000rpm if the heads don't choke.

If peak torque occurs at 5600-5800 a 6000 stall on motor is perfect as is the 4.30 gear. I really think you can go 9.90's-10.0's, but I'm a little worried if it will be able to breathe at 7500rpm with the current heads. N/A that's 6.20's-6.30's all day. N/A cars run their *** off to the 330'-660', but are wound out by the 1320 usually. At least a stock casting stock stroke motor is. Doesn't have any legs to run up top without a good set of lungs and lower body.

The heads are deff the mystery of the build but they were deff grinded on and look pretty decent. Surely nothing like An AI CNC head but think it will perform pretty well. Like I said the car will be a N/A car until I feel I've reached its limits......Changing stall and gear and shooting it for the shot it was intended to be shot with.

Motor should be in the car Saturday with these AJE mounts this is going to be cake!!

That engine looks sweet, where did you get the braided crossover tubes? Is that a kit? My engine is in a t-bucket so it's out in the open, would love to do that!
