Default valve spring help!!????
hey guys, looking to buy some new valve springs for my carbed 5.3, I have a 54-600-11 thumpr cam, any help would be great, thanks

Fairly small cam....

Brian Tooley Racing Im sure has a good kit. Good pricing too.

That cam calls for Comp 918 springs. I would get the Brian Tooley kit, only like $200, complete with springs, seals, retainers and locks.

Small cam? what would you have went with? I dont know much about cams really, the guy at comp cams said it would be a nice cam for that engine! and I never herd of brian tooley before, that looks like a good price for springs! what spring kit would you go with? thank so much for the info guys!

It's the platinum series springs he sells. Just google Brian Tooley racing. Now if you were to go with that ASA cam mentioned above, you could just get cheap LS6 springs.

Compared to comp beehive springs, what are they like? i hear people saying that the beehive are great for ls engines?
