Is it a carb set up? If so whats your timing set up ?

It's a ford 9 inch ladder bar setup, yup that was at piedmont. Truck made max power at 33 degrees. 10 key on 14 start up 33 all in by 1900 rpm

Default pushrod length

hey what length push rod you running? I have a 54-600-11 comp cam and I want to shave my heads as well, should I use stock rods? or go shorter? 2008 5.3 thanks

The only way to know for sure is to measure. I got lucky the stock length allowed proper preload.
