Default Needing ls swap advice!

I want to do a Ls swap into my 95 camaro. It is setup for bracket racing. I have the k member. My fuel system is for carb. I'm gonna use the intake and msd box setup for carb Ls. I just need to know, if I go 5.3, which 5.3 do I look for? If I go 6.0 is there a specific I look for? If I go ls1 or 2 is there a specific? I'm not looking for nothing extreme just something I can finish the swap easily, and make consistent with a cam change from stock. Any help or advice is appreciated!

Any of them will work. The ones to avoid if you are going to leave it stock is the 99/2000 iron headed 6.0. Just to save weight.

The early 99 4.8 and maybe 5.3 may have been down on power from the 2000 up models if I remember. If you are going to throw a cam in it won't matter.

Yep and of the engines you listed will work good...buy the biggest displacement engine you can afford, it won't make a difference fitment wise...the lightest engines will be the aluminum blocks ones (ls1 5.7, ls2 6.0, l33 5.3)
