Pull 2 degrees timing from 5000-6000rpm. Leave 34-36 in it every where else.

I'd also put full 100% 110 in there if you're not going to pull any timing on nitrous. Or pull 2 degrees if you run 50/50 at least.

When you get to shifting it higher it will also really come alive even more!

Car is performing great Craig.

testing in my area here in Wets Ky sucks. Most tracks dont prep too good on TNT nights. I have mine hooking good, but it seems like there is more in it on launch. I 60ft in the 1.41-2 range and I want 1.38 or so range. i also want a wheels up launch at least once. I bet mine doesnt lift them 1 inch now, which is good for et, but I think i can make it lift slightly better and still ET better. I have super stiff front suspension with my 14x175 springs. wanting to swap for some 12x150 to store some more energy for launch.

I think I have 14-110 in front for sure on the 110 tho, I think 90's would work better for me,,, and I have 12 inch 110 in rear too but they too soft im going to order some 12-130 this week..

Well some new times this weekend,, changed rear springs to 12-130.. went and changed the carb squirters to 50 front and 50 rear from what I had,, well it hasd small stumble at launch, but real small...I forgot my old ones on the bench at home so could not fix that problem,, moved the shift point up to 6800 on motor went a 1.44 6.50 at 106 mph we making some progress.. on the nos pass best went up to little over 125 hp,, my best 60 ft was a 1.32 but on the best pass was a 1.34 and ran a 6.00 at 115 mph..but it did rattle the tires when left,,, im still at 35 deg on timing at 1800 rpm up,,,

I'd pull 4 degrees of timing and see if it stays the same mph. If it does, I'd leave it there and put it back to 35 on motor.
Congrats on the passes, she is moving out for sure.

thanks guys, we making progress but not like I think it should,, think the carb is just to small, why? have to make a big change to get mph out of it.. ive got the e85 carb on it now and sounds a lot better. but the rain is prob going to kill the weekend test and tune.

well got the parts for the float assembly in for the e85 pro-systems carb, dang spring was bent some or weak,, got it put in and float was working right now,,, changed the throttle blades for the new ones(no holes in them now) now can get the blades open with the transition holes. took it down road and runs fine now,, gota get a wideband.. well cant wait till Friday for the bracket race again,,,and see what it runs..

Thanks martin !!! we still got some more test and tune days before winter. im going to get them 30's on motor before winter even if I have to hook the trans brake up and leave harder.lol

If you do hook the trans brake up make sure you use a two step to limit RPM on the trans brake so you have some flash left in the converter.

This allows the engine to continue to accelerate when the converter grabs instead of holding it in one rpm when the trans brake releases and halting acceleration of the engine.
