Default 8s or bust!

Fixing the glide this week, going to a 1.69 first gear set to hopefully get the power down, also putting some 3.90s in the car and hopefully will be able to make a full 1/4 mile pass. It went 5.82@117 easy on the 200 shot with a 1.30 60 so it should be good for bottom 9s if I can run it out the back door. It better get 8s on this setup because this winter it's getting a blow through with a x275 88 on e85 then we will see how fast this 6.0 can really go

Nice.. I also went 5.82 last weekend @ 120 tryin to get a 5.7 this week I'm going to play with timeing a bit and see what happens.. Care to share notes? I went to a 355 gear with a glide from a 410, I couldn't get it to hook. I still have a little tire shake now. What is your 330? I have never had your 60, my best is 1.33.. Keep us posted.

Went a 3.74 330, the next pass on the 250 jets it went a 1.27 60 on the back tires and then go out of it somewhere around the 330 but still went 3.68

Searching for a anti roll bar and I'll see where I can get the 80 coupe on a 150, I'll get some 175 jets but that's as far as these sniper kit is gonna go. I'll try to go after the area you guys are at, but not sure how much weight I can still cut with retaining all seats and dash. I have seen cars go from a 7.2 on motor and then 5.8-5.9 on a 175, but that was less weight in the same fox platform. I'm hoping the anti roll will help on motor alone eliminating water energy on squaring the RR, I'm sure 1.3x will happen on the gas.

So, I wish you guys luck and I'll see if I can get where y'all are now! I just don't see a 5.9 from a 6.9 on just a 150 shot but imma give her hell. The new glass hood will help a touch and I am still going to pull the AC blower box.

I am buying an anti-roll bar too for my shot at the 9 second barrier. My car twists hard.

Are you getting the weld-in or bolt-on? I am going to get the HR Parts N Stuff bolt-in. Most guys on The Bullet like TRZ weld-in. The weld-in is cheaper and lighter than the bolt-on deals.

Welding in chromoly, no need to remove I don't think. Even if I was to ditch the chassis, it would improve the value of the roller. 250$ is not bad.

My car has all seats, dash, glass, etc.. I run consistent 6.40 on motor, I can't see going from low 7s to a high 5 but I've been wrong before.. 3020 with me in it.

You see this a lot with cars set up for nitrous. Nitrous cam, nitrous converter etc.

Zones. I have UPR single adjustable lower control arms with the stock GT anti roll bar and air bags. I have not had to add air in the bags with the bar set-up and only have minor twist. I also have through the floor connectors and a 8 point cage so its pretty rigid.

I run 6.9-7.0 motor, on the 150 with a soft tune went 6.09, I think it would go 5s in good air on the 150. Mine weights 2950 race weight.

What converter and gears? My converter is super tight and the 3.73 are nice on the street, so it should respond to the gas very well. If your converter is where I wish mine was on motor you will probably blow through it on the gas.

I have the granatelli adj uppers and spring adjustable lowers. A newer model sway bar. It is not too bad on motor but I think the at is gonna need the anti roll bar on gas.

52 jets, it's a nitrous express Gemini two plate.
It's a 3500 ptc nitrous stall, very very tight on motor but comes alive on the bottle. I think a 1.62 60 is my best ever n/a

I knock out 6* on a 150 shot, 93 octane in the tank and the nitrous tank has 100 octane low lead aviation fuel. Has my timing mark on the curve of the strap and that was a little fat at 12.0 on the wide band. That was in the camaro.

I'm running 34 deg then pulling 2-3 per 50hp for a base then reading the plugs.
