Im glad to see you don't regret the LS3 heads. I love them, even though I don't have mine built for high RPM power. I think the heads will carry, even a small cam for high rpm power, while keeping good street manners. My little , tight lobe Bullet grind is slamming the 7000rpm limiter with only 220* on the intake! It was the exhaust and fuel supply all along on mine, that stopped the pull at 6200.
Let us know how it compares, real world, against the cathedral setup you had. Did you ever get any dyno or drag strip #s on the old set up?

I cranked it last night and today adjusted some timing on it and man DAMN this thing runs GOOD...Why I didn't start off with this setup, idk but man this is much more fun than my last setup...Man the way it feels after 3500 rpms is nuts...Question: If I were to have PTV issues, when would it occur? I've gotten this thing to 7k rpms a few times today and man that **** felt good.
When/if the valves float. Did you flycut?

@ridnhood, yea I was thinking a 4hole spacer later on down the road..

@3pedals, bro thanks a lot for all your help..i know I probably became a pest but dang you stood there and helped me along the way and just want you to know im grateful for that.. THANKS

@newschool, thanks a lot bro...Yea compared to my old setup, this one feels so much stronger after 3600-3700 rpms...man it pulls so dang hard....my other engine didn't pull this hard at all, don't get me wrong it pull but the buttometer is telling me there is something new under the hood and its no joke, lol.....as far as the LOW torque, I don't really feel a difference...riding around town, its actually the same but feels a little more stout actually..If I mash it my converter flashes to about 3700 and its time to hold on from there....I put it on the interstate and man I get to 100 like im driving around town, lol...Man I LOVE this setup compared to my cathedral setup....My last setup put down 38x/37x first time out...second time out it did a nice 417/402...guy is claiming that the numbers seemed a little high but hey Im just reading what his pc screen is saying....So when I get some more funds to afford a dyno again, I may just go back but if I don't have to go, I wont..I think I need to rejet my carb also. Im still playing around with timing as of now so I hope it gets better...I have it idling at 750 and its running pretty good.

@stunningman, yes I flycut .080...Talked to Geoff, he did calculations based on information/measurements I provided him with and he came up with a number of .096 clearance after flycut...So I measured and I came up with .092 clearance...So I think .094 we could say is the CORRECT number, lol...

Bad news, broke my Trans case again...thinking about a JW bell housing for my 700r4.....broke it on the intrastate playing with a buddy c/i 2012 SS Camaro....70mph roll, we both nail it, he gets a bumper on me until about 90-95mph, after than I walk away from him easily to about 147mph when the car started to vibrate...made it another 37 miles to my home and noticed passenger side case broken at bolt holes...and this is a "K" case...dammit so no track time, fml
