new personal best 6.0 Fox

leaving at about 2800, timing is spiked up off idle and then back down, and peaks at 38, but I need to check to see exactly. I am thinking of pulling some out up high and might get more mph and be safer.

Will add nitrous, but not for a Big gain, converter is too loose for the juice, but it should get in the 5s anyway. I have a 3600 i could throw in, but dont really want to. I bracket race ALOT and built it for all motor. I WILL spray it tho. Pistons are notched about .070. I may have a new aluminum 6.2 going in soon, and will look into buying aftermarket pistons maybe. But should pick up when I lose the weight and gain some cubes.

Threw the biggest jets we had. It always seems to want more, so it's at 98 square. Guess what? 1.361 60ft, 6.355@107.65 mph. It was warmer today than last week. But, again, it still goes faster.

Idles great. Loads up when I'm stalling up at tree. But mph went from 106.3 mph to 106.9 with the best of 107.6. So it has to like it. And it will run 2 passes back to back dam near identical. I thought for sure it would slow down. Don't forget this is the new Holley hp 950. I was told to start at 95 square cause they have a big venturi.

I had a BG 1000 cfm on my car for a while and had to jet it way up like that...turned out cause it was just flowing more air than the engine could handle. You may want to try a carb in the 850-870 cfm range of actual flow....you may go faster

I bought this carb to grow into, figured it was a little big, but only wanted to buy 1 time. But yeah, youre right, might be faster. I will just keep wittling away at this thing till I get it where I want it I guess. I THINK I have some more changes to make that may get me 20s this weekend, but we will see.

That was still on the old Hoosiers. I say wasnt trying, because I was in a bracket race, so I was really just working on me. I still havent put any more jets in it, and I am sure it wants some more. I dont know where the 60ft came from. lol
