The kits come with a Sanden compressor, that is matched up to the rest of the unit. I honestly don't know much about AC stuff. This is the first car I ever PUT an AC unit on. Im much better at TAKING THEM OFF to go faster! LOL. They don't like a variable speed compressor for their setup. Something about building too much back pressure under certain conditions.

I won't speak for the kit manufacturer, but it should work no problem.

Those mids don't look bad at all, as in, they should flow pretty good. Are they 3" collectors? If so you might pick up a little TQ if you run some 3" pipe down and back, before the exhaust. That is unless you are doing 3" all the way and in that case, carry on sir!

That's a reason I went with them without too much doubt, they will match the small cam, cubes and intake perfect. They are 3" collectors. Exhaust will be 3" to a Y 3" dumped.

See why we should have our own design shop?? At least if we are going to build something for a particular vehicle we would BUY the vehicle and build it from an ACTUAL VEHICLE, not some web pictures...

The hedmans are supposedly built with on vehicle fitment. At least that's what I was told when I bought mine for the 72 Camaro. With their kit the headers worked out great. What mounts are you using, Zane? I paid more for my kit than it would have cost to piece /part, but I did it avoid exactly what you are going through.

Using the urethane 2.8 mounts and the adapters that sit on them from current performance. Doesn't matter though, the headers would still hit the clutch slave. A small possibility they may clear the steering shaft, if their mounts are higher.

I wish I had the equipment to build my own mounts. Id love to back my mounts up about an inch, then drop the front of the engine down about 2". If you have the welder and cherry picker, why don't you pull all the mount stuff, manipulate the engine where you want it, with header clearance too and fab some mounts up. I wish I had when I started my 72 project. These chassis move around over 20 yrs, so no one makes mounts that are right for every ones S10, or Camaro or mustang or fill in the blank. You can fab stuff. Make it work.

I think you have run into the issue of the headers were NOT built around a stick shift vehicle... If they were they would have routed the tubes differently and/or added shielding of some sort to not cook the line in two or boil the fluid. but on top of that, it still should clear the steering shaft and brake booster at a bare minimum. The ones I bought were cheap and poorly designed but at least the drivers side goes pretty much straight down behind the mount. That would not have been a bad design except they put the flange pointing straight down as well without adding a turn-back to make adding exhaust easier. And mine are only 2 1/2 collector and 1 5/8 tubes.
