That's an interesting theory , 3 pedals. Im surprised that the fuel wouldn't be atomized by the time it got to the combustion chamber with a carb. I know looking down the barrels of a carb when you hit the gas, the fuel looks to vaporize instantly. Whats really interesting for a carb guy would be trying an annular booster carb and see what the engine wants timing wise compared to a down leg boosted carb. I know the annular atomizes quicker than the down leg, so it would make sense , if your theory is true, the annular carb would require less timing and be much more efficient than the down leg .The more efficient your engine is , the less timing you need and the more power you make, simply because you don't have nearly as much pumping loses. The closer the piston is to TDC when the mixture ignites, the less the engine needs, to fight the flame expansion. It would also mean that Ive been leaving power on the table by running my timing too high. With the Fast EZ setup, Im atomized before the AF drops below the TB, LOL.

EDIT: The dyno shop sent a vid of the Nova on the rollers.

I put up a thread looking for a little insight on getting my fuel and ignition tune nailed down. Thanks!

Default Valvetrain Upgrades w/Results!

310HP and 300lbft!

Looks like a cam/pushrods/springs and AFR gauge were just what the doctor ordered! The Nova is a little terror now and I am in LOVE!. The feel and the sound are perfect and I feel little-to-no sacrifice in streetability.

-TSP224R .581”/.581” 112LSA
-Comp Chromoly 7.400” pushrods
-Comp 918 springs
-Innovate Wideband AFR gauge

The dyno shop hosted another dyno day so now I have before and after results! I combined the before and after into 1 graph for easy comparison:

Here is the vid of the July run:
*They tried to run the in 3rd gear on the first run. That dyno must have been at about 160MPH! haha. The second run was in 2nd and ran the engine up to 6500RPM.
