Also, there is a nice color pic of the intake on a motor in the Edelbrock 2014 New Parts catalogue. I would like to know the specs on the 410ci LS3 test mule they used....750hp?

The L92 "Victor" intake is nowhere near a Victor Junior in terms of carb pad height, resulting plenum volume and CSA of the runners.

The L92 "Victor" is basically a souped up Vic. Jr.

Probably why there isn't much difference.

In your opinion Martin, do you feel a swap might be worth some gain? My car is cam only, but this motor seems to love rpm's. Moving shift points from 64 to 68 gives almost 1.5 more mph.

Bout time! Finally giving the LS guys a TB/Carb flange large enough to support real power!

They still need to make a 4500 flanged EFI cathedral port super victor.

I would say no... Mainly because you wont have the valvetrain stability to max the RPM potential of this intake....

The valve springs needed to control the valve properly (at RPM) would probably push the limits on the stock rockers, pushrods and lifters

I shift at almost 7k now.......I have shifted as high as 73, the springs and all were matched thru my cam guy. Maybe youre right, but it says the rpm range is 45-7500, right? I know i can shift at 7 all day long and if I spin, I just turn it up higher and can still run my dial.

I don't have a Vic Jr., so I don't know.

Didn't think a Jr. was this tall......?

I was only going on previous posts I had read elsewhere, so I just unboxed a new L92 Victor JR to check for myself. Almost exactly 15cm with the only damn (metric) tape measure I could find in the house, so right around 5.90" at centre of manifold measured from the side.

That measurement edelbrock used is from the valley face apparently, the actual manifold height is just under 6" and the super victor in the above pic is definitely a lot taller than the JR intake.

Theyre both measured from valley flange

Yeah and I still think that this is most likely a typo in the Victor Jr case, as that red manifold displayed above is considerably taller even just going by the picture alone.
