Converter needs to flash to at least 5400rpm and drop 800rpm on the shift.

This will really help with your E.T. and MPH.

Congrats on 2nd place!

Hope there is a ton left in it, my 89 RS with a 1.55 60 was running 7.1 at 97 MPH with a stock 317 and the EFI trex grind at 3450 lbs down the track .

I am just not so lucky with all the good air talk, I can run my cars in the typical Houston heat at 85* in 200% humidity and then run it in 65* mineshaft air and my cars never pick up anything.

Well went racing again this weekend and got 1st in no box Saturday and went out 3rd today but sense the last time out I put the factory bench seat back in and put a 3in xpipe and Borla mufflers on it. Car ended up running a 6.90@98mph with a 1.48 60ft

But I'm having a timing issue I tried to play with it alittle so I went from 32 total to 34 and it backfires every time I try to leave the line with 34 tried it with it all in at 2000 and 2500 and does it with both. And put it back at 32 don't do it anymore and didnt try to go down didn't have enough time. Any ideas why it would do that?
