thanks guys! lol I bought the car as a roller for 800.00. The purple was going to go after I got the motor done but it has actually grown on me. If you look closely the car has a 275/60/15 Primewell All season Radial on it. Im trying to compete in the FL street outlaws race with the "Hard tire" top 10 list.

Also, Ive been really considering the TSP Torquer V2 cam for my setup. I know the cam is right at the max point for the springs (beehives) but does anyone think it would be worth it to swap it out? I was thinking the V2 on the 112 so it make more power when I spray it since right now its flying out the cylinders due to the 110 lob sep.... Lemme know what you guys think

cool car. my only gripe is the firewall mounted fuel pressure regulator. depending on your track, it may not pass tech as NHRA says to not have any firewall mounted regulators.

yeah the tech guys here are pretty cool. Went to the track last night. Convertor is wayyyyyyy too tight (2800 footbrake best u could get) the care has Primewell 275/60 all season radial so my 60' was junk

12.50 @111 on motor 1.9 60'
12.76@123.4 on .78 jet with a stone cold bottle maybe 800psi at best. 2.0 60'

Im pulling the convertor out on Monday to get it re-stalled. Ill be throwing a 275/60 et street on it for the next time I go out to get a real time out of the car. Pretty happy with it tho! not bad for a completely STOCK bottom end, cam and bolt on carb/intake combo

Thanks guys! Yeah im def looking into a set of Hoosier 28x10's when the converter comes back from getting loosened up. The combo works well for what it is.

Oh yeah, I just picked up a complete lq4 for 350.00 lol gonna do a nice set of pistons rod/head bolts and a custom cam. Staying carb of course!!

You can fit a 12" wide wheel on those with no modification. That so a reason that I nearly went with one. Lol

Zone yeah I have a 12" drag light on it now. Love it lol it stretches the 275/60 for way better contact patch. Should hook nice with a DO6 Hoosier 28x10.5 on it. I'm pretty excited to get the converter back and in. I wanna come off the brake at 3600! Lol

thanks mike... Well I just tore down the Lq4 yesterday. Looks like im going to do stock crank with a nice set of pistons/rods and go L92. After reading a lot it just makes more sense for me to go squareport.

Hopefully I'll be picking up some for 500.00 today complete. I need to find reasonable rods/pistons. Ws6 store has scat rods for a great price, deciding on what piston to go with.... Anyone have any opinions?? Have to be 2618 forged, not a fan of 4032

i have eagle h-beams and diamond pistons in my motor. i don't remember spending that much on them, but that was a few years ago now. i shift at 71-7400 with no reliability issues, but i don't spray my motor either.

Hey guys just wanted to update this little 5.3 has been doing work! I got the convertor re-stalled and its perfect now! 3800 on the brake and it went 11.80s @ 113 on motor with a 1.6 60ft. Unfortuantly I didn't get to to spray it due to a POS nitrous solenoid crapping out but hopefully next week ill be able. For as basic as this car is im really impressed with what the 5.3 has done. Im building a built 6.0 turbo now but this little motor is getting down! Going to try and post pics/vids of tracknight later.
