any 5.3 making 400+rwhp N/A with an automatic transmission. it seems like 380-390 seems to be the limit without going crazy on the truck side.

What's the rest of your set-up going to look like Blue? How big of a converter? What gear/size tire are you going to run? What's your weight. If you've covered it all before it won't hurt to repeat it, as this will make a great thread for you to update as you go along.

Th400, 3500 stall, 3.55 gears, and 275/60's in the rear. Last years motor was a 5.3 stock w/cam swap (lgmotorsports g5x1) same intake and a badly tuned carb. (According to a guy we will call pickle (holley genius)).
It has shitty 2-1/4 inch dual exhaust attached to stock manifolds.
Hopefully i can pull a 10.xx out of it on the spray. Last year i had a 11.7 on a 100 shot.

If I can find a set on the cheap. I almost bought a set of slp mid length ones (full exhaust) but everything ive read said the squeeze aint worth tge juice. Ive got to see if a pair of long tubes off a camaro will fit but ive been unable to find a used set cheap locally

Damn, sorry I cannot remember the exact maker but the Malibu forums should help, I think we used some old SLP 4th gen headers ok the Malibu I helped a friend build with a 6 liter.
