Dual Quad Holley Hi-Ram...

IMO you would need a wild max effort set up to run a dual quad and that intake on a ls. It would be a pretty wicked setup though. Most of the members in this section aren't full blown racers, more or less budget guys lookin to go fast.

It will look great on your show car. IMO you will not gain any performance from 2 four barrels over a properly sized single carb. At the end of the day you just have two times the tuning problems. Price is also a factor... add up the price of a NICE matched set of carburetors, linkage, air filters and the intake. Compare that to your single four pricing that could outperform it in every way. A decent 6.0 will use a 850CFM carb doubling up anything bigger than two 450's will put you way over in CFM's of what it needs.
Also if you lose a race with the two fours sticking out the hood...you pretty much look dumb. Along with the look comes expectations.

Very nice. I like the distributor drive too. That is exactly what I was envisioning for my swap, because it is going into a 1967 Cougar. I bet most people will mistake that engine for a Ford.
The video link is not working. Would love to see it run.

I seldom disagree with you but my experience says otherwise. I have been involved with several cars and engine projects from small block Chevies, Big Chevies, Big Mopars to Big Buicks. All have gained notably going from single 4s to a well set up tunnel ram. A good tunnel ram is just plain superior.

Obviously when the cubes get way up there you will need the CFM's and even split dominators to position the carbs over the ports. I just don't see these kind of people asking for advice here.

Just like any intake, getting the right sized runners for the intended RPM range is crucial. If you check out the Holley Hi-Ram page at Holley's website it says: "• Intended for use on N/A or forced induction engines in the 6.0 to 7.0+ liter range, max power at 7000-8000+RPM". So, it looks like it has similar applications as the Super Victor.
