Lol, two rolling chassis to make one chassis run.......? Your math sucks ***. Lol

On a side note, my mother Fkn 3/4 ton lost oil pressure today and started rattling. Get to pull that apart. See what the Fkn deal is. Guess the base model melling pimp was **** or there was too much clearance in the bearings. I'll see what the short block builder says. Total bullshit to deal with after my wife's truck was stolen.

I'll just be glad I can take the bastard apart and roll it forward and work on the next project while the machine shop does its thing or I find a replacement engine. Wonder how my hotcam would do in a LY6.....

Man, if it wasnt for bad luck you would have none at all. Hit up craigslist and buy the motor from your wife's escelase.

Any sightings of that truck? Check toll tag records if you havent already. It might tell you which direction it left town. Where was it taken from? Surely nobody had the ***** to take it from your long driveway.

I think it was a solid month before my truck turned up. Dont lose hope. I made a pretty penny off the insurance company on that deal too. Lemons into lemonade.

****, yours was used for transport. Mine was used to fix other vehicles or mod some Silverado to a escalade front end. LQ9 swap a base truck, ect.

my progress has slowed to a snails pace, even when i don't have any other plans. i get started late and end early. i did get the front end mostly together on this car, but found out the steering shaft setup isn't going to work with the huge tube headers, so a quick message to PA Racing has me something on the way that should work.

but no matter what i do, this car fights me. here's a strut-to-spindle bolt that got a piece of trash on the threads and stripped out. thankfully i was going to the salvage yard today anyway and was able to get 2 new ones. these are shouldered, metric, class 10.9, fine-threaded bolts, so finding something that would be exactly right at the hardware store would be impossible.

and stickers make everything faster, right?

speaking of stickers, i end up with a lot of stickers that i don't necessarily want littered all over the car, but they're cool none-the-less. well i have this cabinet and it just so happens to have needed some decoration. love it! hoping to get some more cool stickers soon

lastly, i needed a stand for my bench grinder, so i made this up. yes it's cam only.

next weekend is a 2 day race, so i doubt i'll get much done around here otherwise, lol!

Sorry Matt, I'll have to shamelessly steal your bench grinder design I think.

A friend of mine down here has a mullet militia sticker on his lift. Wonder how it got out here to Texas?

I'll have my first two post lift installed Thursday and I am scrambling to finish the eclectical by then.

He is a old bastard. He is building a dodge right now(having it built). He is not in to the racing scene so someone gave him the sticker at some point.

Totally a great feeling of accomplishment today. Not only did I bust *** in time to get the electrical to the shop, I got all the lights mounted and wired as well as had my lift installed today. Couldn't be much happier. There are 5 lights total. They are a dual 46" T5 HO. I was worried about the coverage but waited till dark and was not disappointed what so ever.
