went to a car show over the weekend, and between the great weather and seeing all of the cool rides, I got inspired to get out and do work on the garage ornament.
the stock hood latch got in the way of the heat exchanger, so I installed some aftermarket latches and move the exchanger up. I've got a list on the old chalk board in the garage and I intend to chip away at it until I hear from Rick Stevens Racecars saying that a bay has opened for my car. They are completely re-doing the back half to newer technology.
first I got sick
but it worked out:
and finally the new and improved heat exchanger placement:

who knows what the future holds. nothing will happen for a few years. i have a goal for this thing that i intend to reach and enjoy it for a few season and then we'll revisit that sort of thing, but a procharger has been on my "geez i wish!" list for a long long time.

I was flat out told NO !....she's OK with the nitrous (now) but dead set against any other power adder.
What's that saying....."easier to ask for forgiveness"
Maybe one day....a little more tuning and hit her with a lil' 150 shot When I find the nerve

i was told the opposite. no nitrous ever, but super high winding n/a or supercharger OK. no turbo on this car cause that's for her car and she doesn't want it to be the same as mine, lol. whatev.
