back fire through carb

i have a fresh 4.8 with a g.m hot cam and a new 625 cfm street demon. been running great and just started back firing through carb every once in a while just when I am rolling into the throttle, not when I stomp it could it be bad gas. I just have not run into this before. I tried all the pills does the same. and it's not every time. why I ask about the gas is I put 30 bucks in it mon and tues afternoon it did it the first time. thanks for any help.

May be a lean pop. Make sure there is no debris in the carb. A quick freshen up will reveal any clogged ports.

You might try changing the spark plugs too. I have seen them do this when the plugs start to foul.

If fresh plugs does indeed fixes the problem, you will want to clean up your tune to stop it from happening again.
