Default what fuel pump should I run?

I was thinking about the Holley 12-125 because its quiter than the blue. Would the A1000 or a Walbro be better? Also should I run a return style fuel ststem that returns back to the tank? This for a carbed 5.7.

Not enough info. Car and engine specs? Intended usage?

In general a return style has benefits over a dead-head system. I personally run a Walbro 255 in-tank pump in my car with approximately 450 whp.

There is a aeromotive street and strip that has a built in bypass regulator, and then there is the regular street and strip, that requires a bypass to be run and bypass regulator, either will be excellent for up to 700 HP, and they are priced decent.

Don't go too big or it will just be extra noise. I'm starting to think an in tank Walbro with my external regulator would be perfect.

I went with a Holley black, way loud. If you don't like loud keep away from that pump.

I haven't tried one personally, but I have heard several reports that those Holley HP pumps are very quiet compared to the traditional vain pumps like my Aeromotive S/S.

I run a summit branded holley red pump dead headed and it works well, but again, its Noisey. This winter I will be upgrading the entire fuel system with a holley HP pump. I too have heard very good things about them being almost silent.

well its a 5.7 that has a 233/239 tsp cam, 862 heads that have milled(slightly) with 2.02 and 1.60 valves. and it has the victor jr intake with a 850 holley carb. its intended use will be a quick street engine for a 1967 c10. With the A1000 you dont have to do a return? Im kinda leaning towards the hp125 for the price

That HP125 is a lot of pump for your motor. On the plus side it is big enough to support nitrous.
