Im doing something similar but 4.185 bore 3.185 stroke for 350 cubes. Would be very interesting to see what a 300ish cube motor could do.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but to answer the OP my best is 14.90 at 95. This is in an RCSB Sierra on 20's and street tires. Mods are cam, long tubes, u/d pulley, e-fans, and tuned by me with HP tuners. The truck is a 5 speed and weighs 4610 with me in it.

I should have put a disclaimer on this. I'm far from the fastest N/A 4.8. I just figured I'd post up to show what they are proportionately capable of. There was a guy on performancetrucks.net that managed 12's with an n/a 4.8 but I forget his handle. He was from GA so I would assume Vengance Racing might have had a hand in the build.

edit: The run I mentioned and have posted in my sig was also on a stock timing table...22* at wot if memory serves, 12.4 afr.

My s10 with a junk 1.8 60 did go 8.4 at 84 MPH. That was with all the small components like the small cam, RPM intake, 1 5/8 mid lengths, ect. Not bad.

I will with the mustang. Right now, I'm going to go through a spare short block, gap the rings, throw some home ported LS1 heads in there and find a bigger nitrous system.
