Default Finally getting somewhere with the Mustang. New Best

It's been a long road with lots of chassis problems, repairing the car after the nasty wheel stand last year etc. It's finally coming together.

Got data that the converter was too lose, PTC fixed me up by restalling our 8" converter. Lyons Custom Motorsports got us patched back up on the chassis and has her working great.

New Personal best on a 62 jet leaving on 40% ramped all in by 1.3. Can't wait to put some bigger jets in this Nitrous Outlet Stinger Plate!

What type of data did you see that indicated that your convertor was too loose?

First thing I noticed was car only picked up from a 5.90 on a 100 shot to a 5.86 on a 150. That was after spending a lot of time on the tune. Finally bought me a GoPro camera and mounted it in car on tach. RPM's were only dropping 400 on the shift. Called PTC up and told them what was going on. They tightened the converter, now it's dropping 1200 on the shift on the 150. That tells me we have room to put more nitrous to it.

Good job on figuring things out.
What is a 62 jet worth HP wise?

That's awesome!
It will go 5.40-5.50 on a 250 shot.

I think it has some low 5.6's on the same setup that day, the track wasn't the best that day... wait till he goes to Huntsville that track works

I never ran it out the back door. That track is very bumpy on the big end. I have a 10.91 @ 16 mph slip lol from on motor

Thanks guys. The car is starting to look promising. Once we start turning the shot up i think she has some low 50's maybe even high 40's in her. May have to go to a 10" converter by then, but we'll see
