Default lh8 oil pan

doing my first swap on a 79 g body just wondering can i use this pan for a 408 stroker??

The GM retro fit pan hangs about 2 " lower than a SBC pan would and the Holley pan is about the same as the SBC pan would be.
There are others, but no personal experience with them.

I run one in a g-body and it hangs below the crossmember a little more than an inch. As far as the stroke goes I think the windage tray will need a little work but its not a big deal, I have no personal experience though.

Thanks for the info guys. I put 3/16 washers on the tray and had to notch it a touch and it works great
