Default Msd 6010/6014 tach

I finally got my 5.3 fired up today! So far everything seems good except my tachometer. It's the factory 1987 jeep YJ tach. It worked on the 350 TBI system that was in the jeep. It's now hooked up to the MSD 6014 and doesn't work. what aftermarket Tachs work with the 6010?

It should work fine actually. Make see the wiring is correct. The output signal is the same as a TBI v8 5.0/5.7.

Well the original tach was for a 6 cylinder jeep. Not sure how the 350 tbi worked with it, but I bought a cheap Equus tach from o'reily and it's working so all is good. Now I just got to get this 700r4 to shift before 4500 rpm.
