opinions on cam purchase
ok. Now that the 6.2 is in the car, and made some VERY good runs with my 6.2 cam, which was designed around my 9.8-1 compression 6.0, would I benefit from having a cam spec'd for my 6.2 with 11.5 comp? Would it be worth anything or just a waste of time and money? At this point I don't expect a 3 tenth gain, cause I know that's getting hard to come by at this ET, but If it can improve a tenth or so, it might be worth doing over the winter. Speedtigger, I know you are a smart cam guy and value your input.....entertain me please.

I think that IVC is on the late side for a 11.5:1 naturally aspirated rectangle port 6.2 liter shifting at or before 7500 RPM.
whopping 2 degrees more overlap

If he has a 5000+ converter and he is looking to shift at 7300-7500 RPM, I would rather see him in something like: 236/248 109+3. With lift at .629"/.604" if he is using stock rockers.
I shift early I guess. I'm shifting at 68-6900. I do turn it up occasionally, but only if I'm behind.AND I do have stock rockers.
