Stuck with a carb since I had no FI stuff or experience with it.

Carbs rock just fine, yet to see a substantial gain in an EFI set up over a good carb NA application. More money to spent elsewhere to go fast.

Helicoil how did you go with short inlet manifold?!

I want to swap to a gm performance one to get mine under a factory bonnet. But 721hp not super keen to give up a truckload of hp

I used the Holley Ls3 to fit under my stock hood with a 3" air filter
