hi have an ls in my 1994 Sonoma with a carb and bought a gm accessory drive kit that came with a alternator with a connector that has 3 pins in it and battery lug. I am having issue getting it to charge. I have 12volt with a resistor going to on terminal and 12v going to another pin as per the instructions in the painless connector I am using. The alternator is the same used on vettes from 2005 to 2010. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you
