Default Rocker trunnions

Hope this is OK here since I trust you guys most
See a lot of talk about over bearings.
BUT....
I have to ask. At what point would you need to swap, or should swap ?

Next question.... are the rocker bolts TTY, or one time use only, or like a Gen1 SBC/BBC and lashed/adjusted ?

Should I be worried ?
Looks like I'm keeping it under 6500 now as My best run to date was short shifted around 6000-6300 "ish".

The rocker arm bolts are not tty. They are torqued down to 22ft lbs and normally lock tite or thread sealer is used. there is no adjustment.

Pushrod length will be determined by quite a few things. what is you combo? what heads, cam, and lifters? are the heads milled?

As far as trunions. the jury is still out on that. usually due to age or miles on the rockers. some use stock rockers with no issue and some would rather upgrade.

We sell the Straub bronze trunion kit and we also have our own line of trunion kits with needle bearings already installed in the rockers. So that choice is yours.

Running the brass reunion on mine. For high spring pressure, I suggest he upgrade. Low spring pressure, I wouldn't worry about it.

.650 dual springs
.624 lift

Guess it wouldn't be a bad idea in the near future

Got other irons in the fire right now

It's worth it to know they won't puke bearing.

I used the Summit kit, it was cheap, on sale and came with the install kit.
None of the stock bolts would fit thru the hole in the new trunnions, I had to
"burnish" (sand) all the bolts slightly to fit in-prob would buy a diff set in the future.

Every measurement on ours has been verified and the bolts fit with no issue. Ours come with bolts standard not as an option also.
