Default carb tuning prob.

so not an ls engine, but you guys know carbs in these forums. Setup gen 1 sbc gm goodwrench 260hp crate engine. cam is 234/244 487/508. it has a 144 blower and a 600cfm holley supercharger carb.
Timing is locked out at i think 28 deg. Problem it runs lean and has fuel pressure and idle problems. Everytime i adjust it to proper fuel pressure i have to re adjust the idle, when I do that the fuel pressure drops by atleast one psi. I have not adjusted the idle mixture screws only the idle speed screw. Im a rookie tuning carbs. Any ideas?

Floats must be set.
Idle adjustments could be uncovering too much of the transition slot letting fuel drip ?
Runs lean .... at idle, at cruise, at WOT ? (AFR reading ?)

This a pretty straight forward read if you are new to tuning.
