Motor falls dead in gear

Default Motor falls dead in gear

Motor runs fine at idle. But when I put it in drive and give it gas it shuts off. Any suggestions pls??

6.0 carbureted
408ci
victor jr
.610 lift 245/260
750 quick fuel
Forged pistons
forged crank

Fuel restriction? (clogged filter?)

Idle rpm ?
Timing ?
How/what is controlling the timing ?
Using MAP ?

With no load on motor (idle) you can add more timing.

Mine is 30 at 0 RPM and 35 at 600 flat lined to infinity with a 7500 rev limit.

Try adding some timing below 1000 and see if its better ?

Yes sir!! I noticed my spark plugs are not showing a timing mark!
