Need help with nitrous 408 lq4 stroker
I need input on the combination I plan on building. Motor will be 408 with Chevrolet performance cnc ls3 head. I spoke to a sales person at Bryan Tooley Racing who suggested a rotating assembly with a 12:1 static compression ratio. He told me his 400 plus cube nitrous can would give me a dinamic comprssion ratio that would allow me to drive the car on 93 octane pump gas. Have any of you run such high compression in a carb pump gas motor. I plan to occasionally fill it with race gas and spray a 300 shot of nitrrous. Does any one have GMPP single plane or super victor. Any advice on this combination would be greatly appreciated.

I am running 12:1 static compression in my 434 that I run on pump gas with a 1000cfm Pro Systems 4150 carb. Intake is an LS7 Super Victor. The engine pumps around 205psi on a compression gauge.
So far so good on straight pump gas. I've driven it hard on the street and made one trip to the track on a hot humid day (upper 80's). Haven't sprayed it yet but plan on bumping the octane of my pump 93 with Race Gas concentrate when I start spraying.
