So, got this thing from a friend. Has sentimental value through the roof. Sadly it needed a new roof and all sorts of rust repair but it’s coming along.

12:1 compression, aluminum LS2 block, DSS +6 cc domes, stock rods and crank, balanced rods and pistons. Ported square ports, 5 angle valve job, milled .030 for compression goal. Holley split intake. Only have the 750 demon that came on the 383 so I’ll get a 950 later. Old grind LS1 NA stage 4 BTR cam. 235/242, .621/.592 lift, 111+3. Cam was laying around so figured I’d try it as it does seem to be a proper or close to proper grind for my goals so it was luck.

the truck already had a TH400 with brake, and a M12 rear end with 4.30s.

the headers are my old 89 Camaro LS swap headers from stainless works.

6014 as usual.

cannot wait to see how the ol girl runs in a 3450 pound full size truck. Should surprise some folks to be honest. Lol

i did not buy this with intentions of doing basically a full restoration. But if I wanted it to not be a rusty POS, I had no choice

I’m excited to see how it does. It is going to be the fastest truck I’ve ever built for myself. Then the OBS gets its new engine and a blower, then it will be the fastest I’ve built lol
