That 750 is WAY too big for a 5.3. A 600 would be much better

Well, I have a 68 Camaro with a L33 with a Summit cam (218/227 duration) that makes about 429 hp according to a test performed by Richard Holdener. I run a performer RPM dual plane intake and a Quadrajet, along with a Richmond 4+1 five speed. I am using this very pump inside a Tanks Inc. fuel tank. My regulator is in the very back near the tank, so my return line is about 18 inches long.

You have a few options with electric pumps...Holley 6-7psi max/Edelbrock 5-5.5psi max, so you'll need a regulator...deadhead it up under hood OR return style back near tank or a return line all the way back to tank if you keep under hood.
Elec. FP pushes fuel, so that needs to stay back in/near tank
