I used to pickup/take my daughter to daycare everyday. I would put the car seat on the passengers side and let the seat all the way up. That gave her enough room for leg space. Wasn't much room for the passenger if there was one.

I have a carseat on the rear passenger side. I actually custom fit the LATCH system into it too... I bought the brackets for my last car, had them cut down and drilled out to fit where the seatbelts bolt into the frame, and the carseat LATCHes right to the brackets! (I dont trust just a seatbelt alone to hold the carseat)

with a rear facing child seat you pretty much have to move the front passenger seat all the way up or you'll be mashing the back of the seat. It's not too bad if the passenger is shorter. Atleast my gf is when I have my daughter. She's almost a year and is around a whopping 30 lbs! once they get big enough you can find a good front facing child seat and you will be able to move the seat back again and anyone will be comfortable. There is a certain brand front facing car seat that is the best for f bodies but I can't remember the brand. I think his name is crimsonz28 on here or something. I'll have to ask him he knows.

I have a 6 year old & a 9 year old. I had both of them in the car seats in the SS. Can't do the infant seats w/o the passenger seat all the way forward. My son does not use the booster seat anymore is the SS, but my daughter still does.

Not a great only vehicle for kids, but you can put them in it for a cruise.

I have 2 seats in the back of mine.

one for my 1 month old and one for my 2 year old.

the only thing to watch out for are the seats that have the front brace that you have to raise up to get the kid in. mine hits my headliner so im have to get a different seat for my 2 year old

I have my child's booster seat in the SS....he LOVES the convertible and the sound.

Just be sure to lay down a towel/etc in the seat, the bottom of those seats can cut/crack leather like none other.

I had an STi, and it was MUCH easier, IMO he went the wrong way if it's going to be a daily.

my old 2000 Z28 i had a car seat in the back. might not be ideal, but i didnt have a problem with it. now my kids no longer need car seats and they enjoy riding in the camaro. definitely go with the SS over the STI.
