I took the rear hatch area interior out and painted it black, bought her new front tires.. Changed the distrubtor cap and internal unit, new wires too, and new air filters...

 

I looked at mine sitting in the garage. its on Jackstands, waiting for the rearend fluid to be changed and new seal to stop the thing from leaking. Coil relocation kit is going on soon also. It snows here in NY so its not coming out for awhile. Makes it alot easier to work on when you can take your time.

 

Went to Target with the Z. As soon as I parked big puffs of smoke start coming up through the hood and from underneath the car. WTF-temp's good, o.p.'s good, volts are good-I have no idea what's going on. Opened the hood and nothing but smoke.

Oh well, I've been looking to ditch the LT1 & now I figured it's just gone ahead and died. I come back from the store and open the hood again-I notice that my 'trans stick wasn't in the tube all the way, so fluid got all over the place.

Don't you hate it, when you're with your girl or your car, and you don't put your stick in the tube all the way and fluid gets everywhere? What a goddamn bitch-now I gotta clean all this up...

 

My trans went into limp mode. Now I can't get past 2nd. And bought a new battery. Damn this LT1 and 4L60E combo! It's a sign to go ahead with an LS1 swap!

 

I removed my entire air pump assembly between the past two days. Now going to change rear end fluid.

 

sounds like a 3/4 clutch pack

 

It just setting in the garage waiting for a new TC. The old one went south for the weather. Can not wait to get it fixed.

Thanks Tom. Been a long road, but it's almost done now. The 67 is getting ready to get painted here soon and it's getting an LS1. I'll have to drive up there and see you one of these days.

 

Today I have to adjust my bmr adj panhard rod again and grease the grease the lca's

 

Looked at her sitting there all clean in the garage and kept her there since its snowing, UGH.

 

Removed the Hood Insulation, when I was visiting in her house.

I changed the alternator,oil,and air filter... Used a new set of ramps today because the old metal ones I had were stolen.The new ones (from AZ) suck!! I didn't realize how much shorter they are than the old metal ones I had...

I want tall ramps!!!

 

Washed and waxed the girl..... did the berger mod..... workin on whistlers as we speak....

 

Dropped her off at my uncle's Trans Shop.

 

I installed Qa1s up front set them on full positive then hit a few corners

 

Stared at the direct port kit in my garage Its going on after new years
