I noticed they dropped RS ground effects on it or something very similar.
Always liked those and wondered why they came on the v6's instead of being a v8 option. LOL

I know the 98 cars were not even called "RS", it was just a sport appearance package.

RS was '96-'97 and then SLP came out with an RS package for '01-'02 that did NOT include ground effects.
From '98-'02, ground effects were Sport Appearance Package and could be had on any Camaro or Z28 except certain colors (like Mystic Teal). You couldn't get it on an SS, though one SS that was navy blue was accidentally given them at the factory.

well heres a update on th SS i ended up with.
since i got it a year ago:
i fixed all the exhaust leaks and problems,
put in BMR springs,
modded my shifter and replaced my trans and driveshaft,
replaced the speakers and installed Pioneer head unit,
fixed the A/C,
and got my new wheels on my car...love the wheels.
