Default 2002 Hurst Camaro

Has anyone ever heard of a 2002 Hurst Camaro? A guy I work with says his step son just bought one. I did some searching and couldn't find an '02. He was told it was a V6 and bought from Texas Direct Auto here in Houston. I went to their site and couldn't find anything either. His son is not a car guy and maybe just doesn't know what he bought. Maybe he bought a V6 Camaro with a Hurst sticker

Thats what I'm guessing also. I found a 2010 Hurst Camaro and the article says it is the first "Hurst" Camaro they have done.

I'm guessing Hurst wouldnt waste their time making a special edition V6 fbody.

No doubt. Although they may make a shifter for the M5 trans in a V6 Camaro. NOT from the factory though.

Hurst / Lingenfelter Firebirds were not only built in '97 (9 produced), but there were also 9 (or 11 depending on the source and who you believe) built in '98. All except for the '97 prototype/SEMA show car were M6 WS6s. There was also a special promo 'vert built in '97.

A lot of people put the Hurst logo on the left side of the rear just because they received the emblem/sticker with their shifter. It's not a special edition in this case. There was not a special edition 4th gen Camaro by Hurst.
