I just need to decide if I should keep the wilwoods on it and spend like $600 for new front rotors or sell them and try and find a ctsv kit

Me and a buddy got the rear end in with the new gears.. What a PITA.. It was easier to do my motor swap from the top alone with the trans still in the car the it was to get the ******* wilwoods off the old rear.. Steel bolts in aluminum brackets and calipers FTL..

all the bolts snapped off and were seized in the caliper.. took about 6 hours just to get the brakes off and get new bolts.. the rest was a cake walk lol.

once we got the old rear end out we were able to swap backing plates and get it all buttoned back up..

in the future I will just swap the gears with the rear end in the car lol..

went from stock 3.42 to motive 4.10
speedometer is off by 11 mph says 55 and I am goin 44 but feels like it will be fun still got a heat cycle to go before I can play

stock backing plate

backing plate for the wilwoods

Thanks Again for all your help Steve

ok so trans is at Finish Line Transmissions should know more in a week or so. in the mean time I swapped out the solid motor mounts and went back to stock ( couldn't stand the custom ORY slappin the floor). Pulled the wilwoods off which includes the backing plates and spindle/knuckle, They should be getting picked up today.
I still need to get the front QA1's and install the them with the rear QA1's I already have, get new QA1 300# front spring, pick up a borla xr1 and get that on and get some stock brakes with drilled and slotted rotors.

Is this normal for new gears after about 1500 miles?

I hope to have it back on the road and a few weeks but we shall see

I still want to swap over to the QA1 300# springs in front, put the Dana S60 with some 4.10s in the back and a harwood hood this winter. The front needs to come up a bit also imo.
