i'm down, but it'll never replace TGO's tech support on the rest of the car. that site has 14 years info on it, mostly pertaining to stuff NOT lsx swap related. that site isn't thirdgenlsxswappers.org, it's just thirdgen.org, and you have to take it for what it is. i see no reason to stop going over there. i also see no reason why we can't have a subforum here.

on another note, the two forums are both owned by the same company, so you could think of tgo as your thirdgen section of ls1tech, lol

I would support it. Tgo is still probably the only place I would go tho for tech info. I would imagine a 3rd gen sub forum over here would just be more like a lounge? Tgo has always been against any "off topic" subjects so a lounge would be nice.

I have to agree as to the lounge, we need on here . Tgo is full of the tech threads as our cars are getting old the "articles" and " how to diy " come in handy. Just that every other sub forum is starting to become un organized and few uneccesary disputes are found.

Basically...85 IrocZ swapped to LS1/4l60e. Currently Looming wires. Near future plans include T56 swap, 9in/12bolt and gears, but first and foremost D1SC which will probably anihilate the rear end and trans anyways...giving me reason to replace them lol

Thought I would check in- TPI Terror sent me this way from TGO.

I have to say that I LT1 swapped my car in high school, and thirdgen.org is the absolute only reason why I was able to get anything right. As people noted earlier in this thread- that site is priceless for technical information- and if you look in the right areas there are some wonderful people too.

I've never been on here before since I assumed LTx guys would be irrelevant but here I am anyway

And then I got bored today, added a blue pinstripe. I ended up taking the strip off the next day when I washed the car, it will be getting a set of 18" chrome c6 wheels in the spring.

I'm In too! My car isnt to fancy right now but heres a pic. Getting painted as we speak. 92 Z28 Forged 5.3L/3.905 Bore Weisco Pistons, Compstar Rods, Stock Crank, Ls7 Lifters, Speed Inc TU1 Cam, TC78 Turbo yada yada yada. Got a book going. Oh and I'm not deleting anything! A/C , Cruise ect.

Thanks for the love man! Your camaro has always been one of my top picks as well. BTW, you hear back from a mod yet? This site has just always been so much more laid back. It's also nice to be able to swear occasionally and not have the words mullet or ricer blocked, lol. Thats got to be by far the most retarded thing I've seen on TGO.
